Terry Thigpin - Brazos Valley Property Management Property Manager

terry.jpgA resident of Bryan/College Station since 1963, Terry Thigpin, our Brazos Valley Property Management Property Manager, has seen the tremendous growth in our community. A graduate of the Bryan public school system, Terry joined the College Station Fire Department in 1977 as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician, advancing to the rank of Lieutenant after his first three years of employment. He retired from the Fire Department in 1997 after 20 years of service to the Brazos Valley. He also worked part-time for 15 years for Kolkhorst Petroleum Company, an Exxon Distributor in Navasota, Texas during this time. Terry started out as a gas and oil delivery person and was promoted to operation director, where he supervised employees, inventory, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. When Terry retired from the Fire Department, he accepted the job of Vice President of Operation for Kolkhorst Petroleum Company, where he was responsible for all business matters associated with day-to-day activities of this very competitive energy market.

In 1998, Terry began his career in Real Estate Property Management. In 2002, Terry received his Real Estate Broker License and was promoted to property manager and was responsible for all aspects of the company and its Real Estate Property Management, managing over 400 units. In May, 2005, Terry accepted the invitation to move to a larger firm, and joined Brazos Valley Property Management.

Terry is married to his high school sweetheart, Carrie Smith, and has 3 boys. He is very active in the local youth baseball leagues, where he has been president of Pony Baseball, Harvey Little League and also was the Little League District Administrator for District 33 in Texas.  He also is a member of the Century 21 Beal, Inc Home Run Derby planning group. The Homes Run Derby showcases local youth athletes and raises money for Habitat for Humanity.  Terry remains committed both to the community and to Century 21 Beal, Inc.
